Oil & Garlic Sauce
( YIELD: 4-6 Servings )

I N G R E D I E N T S
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1/2 cup
Garlic, chopped 5 cloves
Salt 1 tsp.
Oregano 1/2 tsp.
Salted pasta water 1 cup.
Spaghetti or long pasta 1 lb.

1. Boil water. Add salt and pasta.
2. In a separate pan, saute the chopped garlic in the olive oil. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add salt and oregano. Stir for one minute, remove from heat.
4. Drain the pasta, saving 1 cup of the pasta water.
5. Mix pasta, water, and the garlic saute.
6. Add salt to taste.

Optional:   Sprinkle with course black pepper or red pepper flakes.
