
Mama Gallucci's Tuna Spaghetti Sauce

| Italian-style tuna fish in olive oil. (do not drain) |
3 cans, (6 1/2 oz) |
| Large onion, finely chopped | 1 |
| Olive Oil | 1/4 cup. |
| Tomato paste | 2 small cans. |
| Granulated garlic | 1 tsp. |
| Salt | 2 tsp. |
| Baking soda | 1/2 tsp. |
| Chopped basil, fresh | 1 Tbsp. |
| Water | 2 cups. |
| 1. | Saute tuna and onion in olive oil for 10 minutes. Stir often. |
| 2. | Add spices and cook for two minutes. |
| 3. | Add tomatoes and paste. Stir well. |
| 4. | Slowly add the water and stir until mixed. |
| 5. | Cook for 1 hour on medium heat. Stir often. |
| 6. | Best served over spaghetti (2 lbs). Sprinkle with romano or parmesan cheese. |
