Mama Gallucci's Tuna Spaghetti Sauce
( YIELD: 12 Servings )

I N G R E D I E N T S
Italian-style tuna fish in olive oil.
(do not drain)
3 cans, (6 1/2 oz)
Large onion, finely chopped 1
Olive Oil 1/4 cup.
Tomato paste 2 small cans.
Granulated garlic 1 tsp.
Salt 2 tsp.
Baking soda 1/2 tsp.
Chopped basil, fresh 1 Tbsp.
Water 2 cups.

1. Saute tuna and onion in olive oil for 10 minutes. Stir often.
2. Add spices and cook for two minutes.
3. Add tomatoes and paste. Stir well.
4. Slowly add the water and stir until mixed.
5. Cook for 1 hour on medium heat. Stir often.
6. Best served over spaghetti (2 lbs). Sprinkle with romano or parmesan cheese.
